It is becoming more important to establish a personal presence on-line. People want to see you, get to know you, and discover what you are passionate about before they engage with you professionally. One of the best ways to do this is to introduce yourself via a short welcome video on your website.

The first question that comes up is “How?” and then “What do I say?” I spoke to Karen (KC) Carlson (Video4Results) last week about her upcoming presentation to the Natural Healers Network in Santa Cruz, and she said the two most important videos we need are 1) the introductory video, and 2) testimonials from your clients.

KC is a professional videographer, who will guide us through the process of actually writing our scripts for the welcome video and teach us how to create professional looking videos with our cell phones and what questions to ask to get powerful testimonials from our clients. See you on OCT 21 at 9:30am at the Center for Source Healing (2959 Park Ave, Suite E, Soquel, Ca – in the yellow building above Bay Photo)!

If you want to refine your welcome video script after the meeting, remember that you are invited to bring your projects to the Weekly Workshop, every Tuesday evening, from 7-9pm. ($15 drop-in fee) RSVP here.

I am suddenly feeling overcome with gratitude for all the professionals who have taken the time to come and speak to the Natural Healers Network groups over the last year. What a blessing this has been!

It is almost time to start talking about presenters for the coming year. What new topics are you interested in hearing about? Which speakers would you like to hear from again?
